Drunken Slug: This index is said to be good, but I haven’t tested.Their search produces good results but somewhat limited index, VIP access costs £8 ($10) per year or £40 lifetime
$12 per year or $40 for VIP lifetime access. Sometimes has a Captcha on the login page, but otherwise very good.
NZBGeek: Currently requires invitation, fairly comprehensive index. NZBFinder: Comprehensive index - registration open - 10€ for VIP access - for 30€ per year you get access to the Spotweb index (a supplemental decentralized Usenet index). NZB.su: Very comprehensive index - registration is currently open - free search currently disabled - $15 per year for VIP access. These sites generally require an invitation for access, but they sometimes open for public registration. If you need a better organized, more comprehensive NZB search, try a member-only site. 
Binsearch is public Usenet search engine but it’s very basic and difficult to use.
